L-TRYPTOPHAN

  • Description:

    White to slightly yellowish white crystals or crystalline powder. Milk protein free, Gluten free, Lactose free, Sucrose free and Fructose free.
  • Indications & Prescribability:

    For use as a supplement in the dietary management of diseases requiring additional L-Tryptophan

  • Suggested Intake:

    The recommended dosage of Tryptophan is dependent on the age, bodyweight and medical condition of the patient and should be determined by a dietitian or doctor only.

  • Preparation & Administration:

    L-Tryptophan can be used to supplement both sip and tube feeding.  L -Tryptophan is soluble in water (1.06g/100g of water at 20ÂșC) and can be added directly to liquid formulae.  For powdered formula, L-Tryptophan is best added to the powder before reconstitution.

  • Precautions:

    Must only be used under strict medical supervision.  Not intended for use as the sole source of nutrition.  Not for parenteral use.

  • Storage:

    Store in a cool, dry place.  Once opened, use within one month.

  • Pack Size:
