• Indications & Prescribability:

  L-Methionine is for use where dietary supplementation with L-methionine is required.

• Suggested Intake:

  The recommended dosage of L-Methionine is dependent on the age, bodyweight and medical condition of the patient and should be determined by a dietitian or doctor only

• Preparation & Administration:

  L-Methionine can be used to supplement both sip and tube feeding.  L-Methionine is a soluble powder (4.8g per 100g water at 20ºC) and can be added directly to liquid formulae.  For powdered formulae, L-Methionine is best added to the powder before reconstitution.  L-Methionine can be mixed with other drinks or taken as a paste

• Precautions:

  .Must only be used under strict medical supervision.  Not intended for use as the sole source of nutrition.  Not for parenteral use.

• Storage:

  This product should be stored unopened at room temperature away from direct sunlight.  Once reconstituted, store in a refrigerator and use within 24 hours from the time of preparation.
