SHSHomeward is a completely free service. There are no tie-ins and no minimum contract. We provide prescription management, stock checking, home delivery, stock rotation and product availability advice. In summary:

We can contact your GP directly and manage the monthly pick up of prescriptions for your SHS metabolic products including low protein foods, leaving you time to concentrate on other things. (If you’d prefer, you can manage the prescriptions yourself).
A dedicated team will contact you each month to help manage your stock and provide help with any questions you might have.
Our dedicated uniformed drivers, who are all police checked, can help to rotate the products if required.

How does SHSHomeward work?

We work on a 28 day cycle and deliver on a scheduled day (Mon – Fri) to a location of your choice.

SHSHomeward only delivers products manufactured by SHS Nutricia You can contact us on 08704 201427 for the latest list of products available on the programme. If the patient / carer prefers to manage the prescriptions themselves, we would remind them on day 1 (and day 12 if required). Deliveries outside of mainland UK will be picked earlier.

How Do I Register

Via your dietitian or GP
If you feel that you would benefit from having your products delivered by SHSHomeward, your dietitian or doctor will help you fill out the forms. You will need to read and sign them before they are sent to SHSHomeward.
We will do it for you.
Just call us on 08457 623605 and we will take your details, complete the forms and send it to you to check and sign.
Registering yourself.
You can register yourself with SHSHomeward. To do this you need to fill out the form that accompanies this book and send it back in the envelope provided.

What happens next?

Carry on obtaining your prescription as normal from your GP and getting your products from the pharmacy.
SHSHomeward will contact you by phone after we receive your forms and guide you through the next steps.
Please note: we cannot deliver to you unless you or your GP send us a prescription, which must reach us seven days before the delivery date.
