Regulatory Affairs Officer – Research & Development
Reporting To: Regulatory Affairs Manager
Role: Full-time, permanent
Base Location: Liverpool
Job Purpose
SHS International (part of the Danone Group) is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Regulatory Affairs team engaged in the rapidly changing area of clinical nutrition.
The Regulatory Affairs Officer is responsible for coordinating product registrations worldwide, providing registration/regulatory input to R&D projects and ensuring our products comply with all relevant legislation worldwide.
Key Areas of Accountability and Responsibility
• Manage registration portfolio in dedicated markets
• Ensure successful and timely launch of new products including regulatory compliance checks and completion of registration/reimbursement submissions
• Support managers and regulatory team to communicate status of registrations and projects
Key Attributes
• Appropriate Science degree preferably in Nutrition and Dietetics and at least 2 years relevant work experience
• Team player and leader
• Attention to detail – able to critically evaluate content of a dossier
• Good organisation skills to undertake and co-ordinate large project portfolio
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written

Senior Nutritionist – Research & Development
Reporting To: Nutritional Science Manager
Role: Full-time, permanent
Base Location: Liverpool
Job Purpose
SHS International (part of the Danone Group) is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Nutritional Science team engaged in the rapidly changing area of clinical nutrition.
The role of the R&D Department is to identify new product ideas and to lead the different stages of design, development and trial of products. Working within cross-functional teams and with an external network of experts, this role is responsible for providing the clinical nutrition input to product design and for managing international clinical trials. Joining the R&D team would provide you with the opportunity to use your clinical experience to develop and trial disease specific products and to shape the future for our product development portfolio. We anticipate this position will require development of new skills and full training will be provided as required.
Key Areas of Accountability and Responsibility
• Design and development of new products / product updates in consultation with KOL’s, literature reviews etc
• Production of key documents, medical rationales and approved product specifications
• Design, implementation and monitoring of clinical trials
Key Attributes
• The ideal candidate will have a degree in dietetics with several years of clinical or research experience.
• Paediatric experience would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to be flexible, innovative and self motivated.
