As part of our programme for continuous improvement for our consumers, we want to let you know about some upcoming changes in the packaging of the products in cans which you receive from us.
The contents will not change. The foods for special medical purposes are the same.
• The labels on the cans for products distributed internationally will be multi-lingual and incorporate a booklet containing information related to the product in several languages.
By labelling our products so that they can be shipped to many countries we expect to improve the continuity and security of supply to you.
• The number of cans in a case will, over time, change to a standard 3 or 6 cans per case.
Standardising to only these 2 alternatives is expected to improve the stability of the pallets on which the products are transported and hence significantly reduce potential damage in transit.
The change will also be more environmentally friendly, using less cardboard per can in the case.
• The labels identifying products on the outer cardboard case will change to a new format.
The readable information will be in a clearer, more consistent format to simplify identification for pharmacists, re-assuring the correct product is given.
